What does a "day in the life" look like for users checking in on BitTorrent? This short movie illustrates over 60 million check-ins for one day in January, 2011. Each second of the movie represents 6 minutes of real-time. Every time a pixel lights up, it's a client (either BitTorrent or µTorrent) in that square of the world checking in within a 15-second time frame. This data was computed using GeoIP lookups from our access logs for the day.
